Trouble Lights are an electro-pop duo from Iowa promoting their latest single “Safe with Me”, which was directed by Geoff Boothby, who did an excellent job. The video features both creepy and tribal imagery, with vocalist/chameleon Adrien Daller blindfolded, dancing in a tree, with horns for hands, and in traditional indigeneous attire throughout the video. The music is well-written, and sounds like a classic 80’s pop track with a modern indie influence. The chorus will most likely stay secured in my mind for a few days. Well done, guys.

Recommended for fans of Little Dragon, Bjork, The Knife, and Lady Gaga.
